The global search feature allows you to quickly find information in AntsRoute without having to navigate through different menus.
You can search for a client, a vehicle, an agent, a job or a package in just a few seconds, from any page in the application.
What is the global search used for?
The global search is useful when:
- You need to quickly access a client’s record.
- You are looking for a specific vehicle.
- You want to view an agent’s information.
- You need to find a specific job.
- You are looking for package information (if the Package Management option is enabled).
It saves you from going through the Clients, Vehicles, or Organize menus.
How to use the global search?
Step 1: Open the search bar
From any page in AntsRoute:
- On Windows: press Ctrl + F
- On Mac: press Command + F
A search bar will appear at the top of the screen.
Step 2: Enter your search
Start typing a keyword (last name, first name, address, etc.).
A dropdown list will automatically appear with matching results.
Step 3: Access the selected item
Click on the desired item in the list.
You will be immediately redirected to the corresponding detailed record.
What can you search for?
You can search using the following fields:
Clients
- Last name
- First name
- Email address
- Address
Vehicles
- Name
- License plate number
Agents
- Last name
- First name
- Email address
Jobs (delivery, work order, pickup, visit)
- All custom fields related to jobs (as long as they are indexed)

If you press Ctrl + F twice (or Command + F twice on Mac), you will access your browser’s native search function.
This search only allows you to find a word that is visible on the current page.
