A site/office/warehouse/point of sale may be the company's headquarters or a local entity managing its own resources. A field worker can only be assigned to one site. In order to add a site, you must complete the following steps:
Note: In order to create, edit or delete a site, the user must have the 'administrator' rights.
Add a new site
- Go to the 'Settings' module.
- Click on the button 'Create a site (agency/warehouse/point of sale)' in the side menu.
- Fill in the general information 'Name' and 'Address'.
- Click on the button 'Next step'.
- Determine the optimization settings.
- Determine which time element is used to calculate the delay.
Note: In order not to change the order of the current route when cancelling an order from the mobile application or from the AntsRoute interface, you must uncheck the box 'Automated re-optimisation of the remaining route end'.
Note : By enabling partial geocoding, you accept partial geocoding results partial geocoding results provided by the geographic information system. For example, when you add an address located in London SE1 7NA that is not recognised by the information system (address does not exist or is incorrectly filled in. e.g unknown street London SE1 7NA), you accept that the system geocodes the following address "London SE1 7NA" (partial address).
Edit existing site
Edit general information
- Go to the 'Settings' module.
- Click on the 'General information' tab in the side menu.
- Make the required changes and click on the button 'Save'.
Note: In order to change the address of your site, you must contact support team by email at support@antsroute.com
Edit the general settings
- Go to the 'Settings' module.
- Click on the tab 'Settings'.
- Click on 'General settings'.
- Make the required changes and click on the button 'Save'.
In the general settings, the following options can be enabled or disabled:

- Sectorisation ;
- Pickup & delivery features (from the Pro plan) ;
- Basket of orders ;
- Import of routes ;
- Display of the ID of orders ;
- Cost calculation.
Note: The 'Pick-up & Delivery' option is designed for professionals whose drivers carry out loading/delivery or collection/unloading routes and which require several returns to the warehouse or visits to different addresses during the same day to reload/unload the vehicle.
Edit the optimisation settings
- Go to the 'Settings' module.
- Click on the 'Settings' tab.
- Click on 'Optimization settings'.
- Make the required changes and click on the button 'Save'.
In the optimisation settings, the following options can be enabled or disabled:

The end of a delivery is strictly included in the required time slot (strict mode) ;
- Itinerary calculation strategy (fastest / shortest) ;
- Take the traffic into account when optimizing routes and monitoring in real time ;
- Avoid tolls ;
- Enable partial geocoding ([London SE1 7NA] instead of [unknown street London SE1 7NA]) ;
- Automated re-optimization of the remaining route end ;
- Maximum optimization time (in minutes) ;
- Maximum re-optimisation time of a route (in seconds) ;
- Minimize the vehicles used when optimizing ;
- Minimize waiting time between deliveries ;
- The validity time of a proposal when adding deliveries (in seconds) ;
- Filling rate of the agenda when adding deliveries (%).

Note: In order to activate the taking into account of road traffic during the optimisation of the routes and the real time monitoring, you must contact the support team by email at support@antsroute.com
Note: The maximum optimisation time is the calculation time to optimise your routes. This time must be defined according to the number of orders you schedule daily. The duration should increase with the number of orders.
Note: The validity time of a proposal is determined by the timer that is displayed when scheduling an order. This timer makes it possible to manage competition when several users plan orders for the same site in the time.
Delete a site
WARNING: By deleting a site, you will delete all the data associated with that site (customers, vehicles, agents, etc.). In addition, users who only have rights for this site will be disconnected and will no longer be able to access AntsRoute until a new site is assigned to them.
- Go to the 'Settings' module.
- Click on the 'General information' tab in the side menu.
- Click on 'Delete site (warehouse): site name'.
- Enter the site name to confirm the deletion.
- Click on the 'Delete' button.
