Do some of your field service operations must be completed every day, every week or every month? AntsRoute has features which make possible to manage recurring field services. Just follow the steps below:
- Go to the 'Schedule' module.
- Click on the tab 'Schedule field services'.
- Enter the first three letters of the customer's name in the search bar.
- Select the customer in the drop-down list.
- Determine the 'Duration' and fill in the details of the field service operation.
- Select the option 'Define a recurrence' in 'Planning dates'.
- Determine the recurrence period by choosing the date for 'Starts on' and 'Ends on/after'.
- Determine the frequency among the following options:
- Daily: You must determine the number of days between each recurrence. For example, to add field service operation which must be carried out every three days, enter 3 in the 'Every' field.
- Weekly: You must determine the number of weeks between each recurrence. For example to add field service operation which must be carried out every three weeks, enter 3 in the 'Every' field. Then, select the days of the week on which this task should be added. For example, select 'Tu' and 'We' to add an occurrence every 3 weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Monthly: You must determine the number of months between each recurrence. For example, to add a field service operation which must be carried every three months, enter 3 in the 'Every' field. Then, determine the day of the month on which the occurrence should be added by selecting a day from the drop-down list. Y You can also define your own recurrence scheme. For example, to schedule an occurrence the first Tuesday of the month, you must select 'On' and choose the required option via the drop-down lists.
- Choose the 'Time slot' if necessary.
- Click on the button 'Save'.
Note: After having added the recurring field service operation, go to 'Customers' > Search the customer > 'Recurring field services' to see the recurrence. To display the list of occurrences of this recurring task, you just need to click on the 'Forthcoming field services' tab. To easily find these occurrences, you can add the 'Recurrence' column to the table by clicking on the cog wheel in the header row.
