From the AntsRoute interface, you can cancel a job that has already been scheduled in an ongoing route. This action updates the route in real time and immediately informs the field agent.
Follow the steps below to cancel a job.
Steps to cancel a job
- Go to the Monitor module.
- Click on the Map tab.
- Select the relevant route by clicking on …, then click Route's details.
- In the list of jobs, find the job you want to cancel.
- Click on … next to the job, then select Manage this delivery > Cancel.
- If needed, add:
- a comment
- a cancellation reason
- Click Confirm to validate the cancellation.
Result
Once the action is confirmed:
- the job is canceled in the ongoing route;
- it appears in red at the bottom of the jobs list.

When the job is canceled, the field agent automatically receives a notification on their smartphone via the AntsRoute mobile application. - Rescheduling a canceled job
Canceled jobs can be rescheduled from the "Canceled deliveries" tab in the "Plan" module.
