You can customise how the delay (or early arrival time) of a delivery is calculated.
This information is displayed in the “List of deliveries” tab of the “Monitor” module.
You can choose the reference used to determine whether a delivery is late or early.
Why configure the delay calculation?
Depending on how your organisation operates, you may prefer to:
- Calculate the delay based on a specific arrival time
- Or check whether the delivery falls within a defined time slot
This setting allows you to adapt monitoring to the way your teams work in the field.
Steps to modify the delay calculation
1. Access the settings
- Click on “Settings”
- From “Settings”, click on “Optimisation”
- Go to “Delay calculation”
2. Choose the calculation method
Two options are available:
➡️ Option 1: Calculation based on the planned arrival time
The delay is calculated based on the scheduled arrival time.
You must define a threshold in minutes from which a delivery is considered late or early.
Example:
If you enter 25 minutes, the delivery will be considered late if the expected arrival time exceeds the planned time by 25 minutes.
👉 In this case, complete the field:
“Threshold from which a delivery is considered late or early (in minutes)”
➡️ Option 2: Calculation based on the time slot
The delay is determined according to whether the defined time slot is respected.
A delivery is considered late if the recalculated expected arrival time does not fall within the scheduled time slot.
Example:
- Time slot: 12:00-14:00
- Recalculated arrival time: 14:35
👉 The delivery will be considered late.
3. Save your changes
Once you have made your choice:
- Click on “Save”
Your settings will be applied immediately.
In summary
Configuring how delay is calculated allows you to adapt delivery monitoring to your organisation:
- Either based on a specific arrival time
- Or based on a time slot
Choose the option that best matches your field operations for more accurate and reliable monitoring.
