With AntsRoute, you can manually schedule a pickup & delivery step on a specific date.
A pickup & delivery step includes:
- either a loading followed by a delivery,
- or a pickup followed by an unloading.
This feature is especially useful when you receive a customer request that requires a job on a specific date.
💡 Good to know:
This feature is available with the Pro plan and must be activated beforehand in your settings.

Before You Begin
We assume here that your customer is already registered in your database.
If not, you must first create their file:
Plan > Schedule delivery > Add a customer
Step 1: Choose the Type of Job
- Go to the Plan module
- Click on the Schedule deliveries tab
- Select the desired type:
- Delivery (Loading > Delivery)
- Pickup (Pickup > Unloading)
This determines the structure of your step.
Step 2: Enter the Delivery or Pickup Details
Let’s take the example of a Delivery.
You need to complete the following information:
- Delivery location: type the first letters of the customer’s name and select it from the list
- Location of delivery : for example, “Delivery to the customer’s home”
- Duration: enter the estimated duration of the job (in minutes)
- Forced driver (optional)
- Comments (optional)
- Capacity to deliver (if the option is activated)
- Attachments (optional)
☝️ Depending on your configuration, additional fields may appear:
items, packages, skills, service types, or custom fields.
💡 If the customer will not be present at their usual address, you can enter a temporary address.
Step 3: Enter the Loading or Unloading Details
Let’s take the example of a Loading.
You must specify:
- Loading location
- Loading duration (in minutes)
- Desired time slot
- Comments (optional)
☝️ Save time with default values
If your loading or unloading steps often have:
- the same address,
- the same duration,
- the same time slot,
you can define default values:
Settings > Settings > Default values
You can define:
- a default location,
- a default duration,
- a default time slot.
These fields will be automatically pre-filled during scheduling. You can still modify them if needed.
Step 4: Schedule on a Fixed Date
To schedule the job on a specific date:
- Select the option Plan this delivery on
- Choose the desired date
- Define up to 4 time slots
- Click Add
- Select one of the available time slots and click Save
The job will then be added to your schedule.

- From: displays availability over several days
- Define a recurrence: allows you to schedule a recurring job (daily, weekly, or monthly)
