Have you already built routes and would like to re-optimize them or schedule them for another date?
You can import them directly into the platform in just a few steps.
Step 1: Enable the route import option
Before importing your files, you need to activate the feature.
- Go to the Settings module.
- From Settings in the side menu, click on General.
- Enable the option Activate route import.
- Click Save.
The import option is now available.
Step 2: Complete your file
Required Fields
The following columns must be included in your file:
- Last name (customer or company name)
- Address (example: 71 Tooting High St, London SW17 0RN)
- Planned duration (in minutes, for example: 25)
- Registration number (must match a vehicle already added in Resources > Vehicles)
⚠️ If one of these fields is missing, the import cannot be completed.
Optional Fields
You can also add the following information:
- Customer External Id (your ERP customer code, e.g., C01001001)
- First name (contact person)
- Phone / Mobile (international format: +44…)
- Postal code
- City
- Customer comments
- Time slot: corresponds to a time window defined in your site settings, format HH:MM-HH:MM (e.g., 08:00-10:00)
- Comments
- Order type (service types defined in your account settings)
- Comp_XXX: indicates whether a predefined skill is required (enter YES or NO)
- Cap_XXX: quantity to transport (whole number, e.g., 18) corresponding to a predefined capacity. This field is required if mandatory validation was enabled when creating the capacity.
☝️ Skills and capacities must be created beforehand in the settings.
Step 3: Import your routes
- Go to the Plan module.
- Click on the Import routes tab.
- Select the date on which you want to import your routes.
- Click Import your routes.
☝️ Important points to check
- Phone numbers must be in international format.
Example for UK: +447600123456
In Excel, if the "+" sign disappears, add an apostrophe before the number: '+447600123456 - Column names in your file (Excel or CSV) must exactly match the required field names (e.g., Name, Address, Duration, License plate…).
- We strongly recommend filling in the Customer External Id field to avoid creating duplicate customers.
