Do you want to modify only certain routes without impacting your entire schedule?
Partial re-optimization allows you to adjust one or more already optimized routes while keeping the others unchanged.
This feature is particularly useful in the following cases:
- adding or modifying jobs
- agent absence or unavailability
- last-minute adjustments
Two options are available:
- re-optimize a single route
- re-optimize multiple routes
Re-optimize a single route
💡 Objective: reorganize the order of jobs within a route without changing the assigned agent or other routes.
Steps to follow:
- Go to the “Organize” module
- Open the “Agenda” tab
- Select the relevant date in the calendar
- Click the “...” button on the right side of the route to reoptimize
- Select “Manage this route” > “Optimize”
Re-optimize multiple routes
💡 Objective: optimize several routes at the same time.
Jobs can be reorganized and reassigned between the selected agents.
Steps to follow:
- Go to the “Organize” module
- Open the “Agenda” or “Routes” tab
- Select the relevant date
- Check the routes you want to re-optimize
- Click the “Re-optimize” button
☝️ Good to know:
- Routes that are not selected will not be modified
- Re-optimization may result in a change of agent (when multiple routes are selected)
- You can run the optimization as many times as needed
Conclusion
Partial re-optimization is a simple and quick way to adjust your schedule without starting from scratch. It helps you save time while maintaining control over your routes.
