In some businesses, your drivers may need to:
- Load goods at address A,
- Then deliver them to address B,
- Or return to the warehouse several times during the day to reload their vehicle.
This type of organization corresponds to the Pickup & Delivery model, also known as multi-depot or multi-trip routes.
Good news: AntsRoute allows you to easily manage these scenarios thanks to the Pickup & Delivery option.
What is the Pickup & Delivery option used for?
By enabling this option, you can:
- Schedule loading → delivery or pickup → unloading steps
- Allow your drivers to return to the warehouse several times during their route
- Automatically optimize routes with multiple depot points
This allows you to create a more realistic schedule tailored to your operational needs.
💡 Good to know: The Pickup & Delivery option is available starting from the Pro plan.
How to enable the Pickup & Delivery option?
Follow these steps:
- Go to the Settings module.
- From Settings in the side menu, click on General.
- Activate the option Enable pickup & delivery mode.
- Click Save.
Once the option is activated, you will be able to create and schedule loading → delivery or pickup → unloading steps.
What’s next?
Once the mode is enabled, you can configure your first Pickup & Delivery routes.

In summary
The Pickup & Delivery option allows you to organize more complex routes, with multiple loading and depot points.
It only takes a few seconds to activate and helps you optimize scenarios tailored to your field operations.
We recommend enabling it if your drivers perform routes with warehouse returns or pickup → delivery sequences.
