Add and manage files for a customer or a job

In AntsRoute, you can attach documents to customers and jobs. This feature allows you to easily share important information with your field teams.

For example, you can add:

• site photos
• an access plan
• a contract or technical document
• instructions for the technician

Attachments or files are added from the web interface during planning and can then be viewed by field workers in the mobile application.

You can add up to 3 files per customer and 10 files per job.

☝️ Good to know: You can upload multiple files at the same time by simply dragging and dropping them into the designated area.
 

Add a File to a Job

To add a document to a job:

1. From the AntsRoute web interface, open the creation or editing page of a job.
2. Go to the “Files” section.
3. Add your files by clicking the Choose files button or by dragging and dropping them directly into the designated area.

The file will then be added to the job.

Technicians will then be able to view these files directly in the job details from the mobile application.
 

Add a File to a Customer

You can also add documents directly to a customer profile.

To do this:

1. Open the customer profile from the web interface.
2. Go to the “Files” section.
3. Add your files by clicking the Choose files button or by dragging and dropping them directly into the designated area.

Files added to the customer profile will be automatically accessible in the jobs planned for that customer.

This is useful for storing documents such as access plans or specific instructions.
 

Download a File

Attachments are visible in the job details.

To download a file:

1. Open the job details.
2. Identify the file you want to download.
3. Click ... > Download.

The document will then be downloaded to your device.
 

Delete a File

To delete a file:

1. Identify the file you want to remove.
2. Click ... > Delete.

The file will then be deleted.
