Introduction
When scheduling a delivery or an intervention in AntsRoute, you can propose time slots to your customers or your team.
By default, the tool allows you to display availability for a maximum of 4 time slots.
However, thanks to the Service Types feature, you can go further: it is possible to create up to 24 time slots for the same service type. This gives you greater flexibility to offer time ranges that are better suited to your activity and your customers’ expectations.
⚠️ Note: The display of availability during scheduling depends on the number of time slots configured:
- Up to 4 time slots: availability is displayed over three days.
- From 5 to 12 time slots: availability is displayed over two days.
- From 13 to 24 time slots: availability is displayed over one day.
This article explains step by step how to create and use these extended time slots.
Steps: how to create up to 24 time slots
Create a service type with multiple time slots
Follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Click on the Types of service tab.
- Click on the Add (+) button to create a new service type.
- Open the drop-down list “Time slots for scheduling appointments”.
- Click on “Add a slot”.
- Enter:
- the start time of the slot,
- the end time of the slot.
- Click Save.
Note: You can repeat this process as many times as needed, up to a maximum of 24 time slots. - Then complete the other required fields for your service type (name, duration, etc.).
- Click Save to finalise.
Modify or delete a time slot
If you want to adjust your time slots:
- Click on the Pencil icon to edit an existing slot.
- Click on the Bin icon to delete a slot.
These changes can be made at any time from the service type settings.
Use these time slots during scheduling
Once your service type has been created:
- Start scheduling a delivery or intervention.
- Select the service type you have just created.
AntsRoute will then display availability across your custom time slots, which can include up to 24 different slots.
