The vehicles are associated with field workers and must be defined before adding workers.
Add a vehicle
In order to add a vehicle, you must complete the following steps:
💡 If you want to add a vehicle, a licence must be available. You can check the availability of unused licences by clicking on the blue circle in the top right-hand corner > “My subscription”. If necessary, you can add licences by following the steps outlined in this support article.
- Go to the “Resources” module.
- Click on the tab “Vehicles”.
- Click on the button “Add” in the top right.
- Fill in the general information: Name, Registration number, Kilometers (optional), Maximum authorized number of kilometers per route (optional).
- Select available License.
- Determine the “Vehicle type”.
- Determine the “Location of the vehicle”:
- Site ;
- Custom (address different from the site)
- Click on the button “Save”.
☝️ Good to know: If you have activated the cost calculation function in the settings, you can define the cost (€/km) when adding a new vehicle.
☝️ Good to know: The vehicle's carrying capacity can be defined. The capacities are used to manage the constraints between your vehicles and deliveries (volume in m3, weight in kg, number of pallets, number of parcels, etc.). For example, if a vehicle has a maximum loading volume of 12 m³, this volume must not be exceeded when routes are created. The capacities are generally created in “Settings” > “Capacities”. However, you can create them directly when you add a vehicle by clicking on the “Add a capacity” button.
Edit a vehicle
- Go to the “Resources” module.
- Click on the “Vehicle” tab.
- Click on “...” and “Edit”.
💡 You cannot delete a vehicle that is assigned to a driver. You must first assign this driver another vehicle.
