Does your schedule change, or does certain information need updating? With AntsRoute, you can easily modify a recurring work order, whether for all occurrences or just one.
Modify All Occurrences of a Recurring Job
If you wish to modify a recurring work order in its entirety (e.g., change the duration or time slot), follow the steps below:
- Access the “Customers” module from the main menu.
- Enter the first three letters of the customer's name in the search bar.
- Identify the customer in the list, then click on “...” > “Customer sheet”.
- Go to the “Recurring work orders” tab.
- Click on “...” and then on “More details” for the work order you wish to modify.
- From the “Information” tab, make the necessary changes (duration, time slot, etc.).
- Click on “Save”.
- Click on “Confirm” to validate changes for all future occurrences.
Modify Just One Occurrence of a Recurring Job
If you wish to adjust a specific occurrence without impacting the entire series (for example, exceptionally changing the duration or location), here's how to do it:
- Access the “Customers” module from the main menu.
- Enter the first three letters of the customer's name in the search bar.
- Identify the customer in the list, then click on “...” > “Customer sheet”.
- Go to the “Forthcoming work orders” tab.
- Find the desired occurrence, then click on “...” > “More details”.
- From the “Information” tab, modify the necessary data (e.g. duration, address, etc.).
- Click on “Save”.
- Select the “Update only this work order” option.
- Click on “Confirm” to validate the modification of this occurrence only.
💡 Good to know:
- The recurrence period cannot be modified.
- To cancel a single occurrence, also use the “Forthcoming work orders” tab.
