Dynamic clustering allows you to allocate your deliveries in advance to all the available drivers according to their geographical proximity. In other words, this function speeds up calculation times, particularly when there are many deliveries to assign.
The tool assigns the deliveries to clusters, which are then assigned to the drivers. Each of these sectors is then optimised. The sectors are assigned to the drivers closest to them, and if there are deliveries that are incompatible with that driver, they will be included in the list of unassigned deliveries.
βοΈ Good to know: If all or a significant part of the deliveries have forced drivers, the deliveries will have to be reassigned manually. This is a tedious task. For this reason, if you use forced drivers, we advise you not to activate this option.
π‘ The function is available in beta mode.
To activate the clustering option, follow the steps below:
- Go to the βSettingsβ module.
- From βSettingsβ tab, click on βOptimisationβ.
- Authorise the option βEnable dynamic clustering before optimization (beta feature)β.
- Click on the βSaveβ button.
