Thanks to the item database, you can enter the products that your company offers and that your drivers deliver during their routes. When adding new items, you must enter the reference, the name and the price. Once your items are created, you can indicate the quantities to be delivered for each new delivery you schedule.
To start, you need to activate the option by following these few steps:
Activate the 'Item management' option.
- Go to the module 'Settings'.
- Click on the tab 'Settings'.
- Click on 'General settings'.
- Activate the option 'Item management'.
- Click on the button 'Save'.
Create items
Once the option is activated, you can add the different items offered by your company from the 'Item database' tab.
Add items manually
- Go to the module 'Settings'.
- Click on the tab 'Item database'.
- Click on the blue circle '+' at the top right.
- Determine the 'Reference'.
- Determine the 'Item name'.
- Set the 'Price'.
- Click on the button 'Save'.
Import a list of items
If you already have a file with a list of items, you can import it in Excel or CSV format. Your file must include the following three columns: Reference, Item name, Price.
- Go to the module 'Settings'.
- Click on the tab 'Item database'.
- Click on the button 'Import items'.
- Click on the button 'Upload your file'.
Indicate the quantities to be delivered when scheduling
During the scheduling stage, you can determine for each delivery which items are to be delivered and the corresponding quantities for each delivery. For example, from the 'Schedule deliveries' tab:
- Search for an item by name or reference via the search bar.
- Select the item in the drop-down list.
- Determine the quantity to deliver.
