The “Complete routes” feature in AntsRoute makes it possible to quickly add unassigned jobs to already planned routes, while keeping the current order of visits.
The “Complete” option is especially useful when you have unassigned jobs that you want to distribute across already scheduled routes, without disrupting the original organization.
How it works
When a route is completed, the new jobs are added intelligently to the existing route based on time and geographic constraints.
⚠️ However, the route is not re-optimized. The order of already planned jobs is not changed.
Example:
If a route contains jobs A → B → C and you add job D, the only possible combinations will be:
- D → A → B → C
- A → D → B → C
- A → B → D → C
- A → B → C → D
It is therefore not possible to completely reorganize the route (for example, B → D → C → A).
