AntsRoute lets you position unassigned jobs or reposition planned jobs to a fixed position in a route. This feature makes it possible to optimise the organisation of routes by adapting the order of jobs according to your needs.
Two options available
You can perform two actions:
- Position an unassigned jobs at a fixed position in a route.
- Reposition a planned job to a fixed position in the same route or in another route.

This option is also available for ongoing routes in the Monitor module.
The steps to follow (for example: reposition a planned job to another route):
- Access the βOrganiseβ module.
- Click on the βMapβ tab.
- Select a date using the date picker.
- Locate the relevant job and click on ββ¦β > βManage this deliveryβ > βRepositionβ.
- Choose the map or list view.
- Select the target route.
- Enter the desired position in the route (e.g., 1 = first job).
- Click the βSaveβ button.
The job is immediately repositioned in the route.
Conclusion
The repositioning feature allows you to stay in control of your routes, even after automatic optimization.
It is ideal for quickly adapting to unexpected changes while maintaining an efficient schedule.
