The AntsRoute platform allows you to create custom absence types to better organize your field agents’ schedules.
Each absence type can be defined with a name and a color, making it easier to identify non-working days at a glance in the planning view.
Once created, these absence types can be selected when adding:
- a non-working day (e.g., company closure),
- or an absence assigned to a driver (vacation, sick leave, etc.).
Steps to create an absence type
- Go to the “Settings” module in your AntsRoute interface.
- Click on the “Absence types” tab.
- Click the “+” button at the top right of the screen.
- Enter the name of the absence type (e.g., Paid leave, Sick leave, Day off, Company holiday, etc.).
- Select a color to easily recognize it in the planning calendar.
- Click “Save”.
💡 The selected color will automatically be applied to all absences of that type in the planning view.
Editing or deleting an absence type
- To editing an existing absence type, click “...” > “Edit”.
- To deleting an existing absence type, click “...” > “Delete”.
⚠️ Important when deleting an absence type. If you delete an absence type that has already been assigned to agents or non-working days, those absences will retain only a generic “Absence” status and will appear in blue in the planning view.
