If you want to schedule your field service operations or deliveries manually, and you have a customer database, you can import the file in Excel or CSV format by following the steps below:
- Go to the 'Customers' module.
- Click on the button 'Import' located at the top right.
- Click on the button 'Download template' to get the template file.
- Add and fill in the following columns in the file before clicking on the button 'Upload your file'.

- Name of the customer or possibly the name of the company ; (REQUIRED)
- Address (for example: Parliament Square, London SW1P 3JX, United Kingdom) ; (REQUIRED)
- External customer identifier, i.e. the unique code of your ERP (if you have one) (for example: C00013434) ;
- First name or the name of your contact when the customer is a company ;
- Phone ;
- Mobile-phone in international format (for example: +447600123456) ;
- email (for example : marie@email.com) ;
- Postal-code (for example: SW1A 2JR) ;
- City (for example: London) ;
- Latitude (for example: 48.731612) ;
- Longitude (for example: 5.978622) ;
- Comments (for example: ask for the key to the caretaker) ;
- Private comments, i.e. a comment which is only displayed on the web interface. The field workers cannot view this comment from the mobile application ;
- Favorite field workers, i.e. the field workers to whom service operations can be assigned for this customer. The format is a list of workers' emails separated by commas. For example, agent1@antsroute.com,agent2@antsroute.com ;
- Monday: the objective is to set the opening hours of the customer for Monday. For example, 08:00-11:45,14:00-18:00. The input format is HH:MM-HH:MM. If there are several opening times for the day (maximum 2), they must be separated by a comma (for example: 08:00-10:00,12:00-18:00) ; ;
- Tuesday: the objective is to set the opening hours of the customer for Tuesday. For example, 08:00-11:45,14:00-18:00. The input format is HH:MM-HH:MM. If there are several opening times for the day (maximum 2), they must be separated by a comma (for example: 08:00-10:00,12:00-18:00) ;
- Wednesday: the objective is to set the opening hours of the customer for Wednesday. For example, 08:00-11:45,14:00-18:00. The input format is HH:MM-HH:MM. If there are several opening times for the day (maximum 2), they must be separated by a comma (for example: 08:00-10:00,12:00-18:00) ;
- Thursday: the objective is to set the opening hours of the customer for Thursday. For example, 08:00-11:45,14:00-18:00. The input format is HH:MM-HH:MM. If there are several opening times for the day (maximum 2), they must be separated by a comma (for example: 08:00-10:00,12:00-18:00) ;
- Friday: the objective is to set the opening hours of the customer for Friday. For example, 08:00-11:45,14:00-18:00. The input format is HH:MM-HH:MM. If there are several opening times for the day (maximum 2), they must be separated by a comma (for example: 08:00-10:00,12:00-18:00) ;
- Saturday: the objective is to set the opening hours of the customer for Saturday. For example, 08:00-11:45,14:00-18:00. The input format is HH:MM-HH:MM. If there are several opening times for the day (maximum 2), they must be separated by a comma (for example: 08:00-10:00,12:00-18:00) ;
- Sunday: the objective is to set the opening hours of the customer for Sunday. For example, 08:00-11:45,14:00-18:00. The input format is HH:MM-HH:MM. If there are several opening times for the day (maximum 2), they must be separated by a comma (for example: 08:00-10:00,12:00-18:00).
Note: The mobile phone numbers must be in international format. For example, +447600123456. In order to display the "+" sign in Excel, you can add an apostrophe in the cell before the +44 (e.g. '+447600123456).
Note: If you have used custom header names, you can see on the right-hand side of the page the fields to be dragged into the corresponding columns. Then click on the 'Validate' button below the list of optional fields.
Note: You can re-import existing customers to update their information. If you want to change the address of your customers by re-importing a file, they must have an External customer identifier.
