After having added or imported work orders into the bucket, you can start scheduling these tasks. In some cases, not all work orders can be scheduled on a single day due to the number of tasks and the time constraints. In this case, you need to spread these tasks over several days. In this support article, we explain:
How to plan work orders from the basket
Step 1: Schedule tasks of the bucket on the first day
- Go to the “Plan” module.
- Click on the “Delivery basket”.
- Select the work orders to schedule by checking the corresponding boxes.
- Click on the button “Plan” above the table.
- Select a scheduling date via the date picker.
- Click on the “Save” button.
☝️ Good to know: In order to make it easier to schedule work orders, it is possible to display more elements in the table per page. You can display up to 100 tasks per page. Just choose the number of items to be displayed via the 'Elements per page' selector below the table.
Step 2: Optimise the routes on this first day
After having selected a scheduling date, the software automatically redirects the user to the “Map” tab of the “Organize” module on the selected date. Just click on the button “Build routes”.
Step 3: Move unassigned tasks to a second day
- Click on the tab “Agenda”.
- Click on the button “View the list” of work orders which have been planned for today but are not assigned to routes.
- Check the box “Select all” from the panel on the right of the screen.
- Click on the “Reschedule” button.
- Select a date using the date picker.
- Click on the “Save” button.
💡 After having scheduled work orders on this second day, repeat this third step for the tasks remaining unassigned.
