AntsRoute allows you to assign a name to your routes. This feature is particularly useful if you regularly run the same routes (for example by area, customer, or type of service).
Naming routes makes it easier to identify them in the schedule, order tables, and route history.

Enable the option to name routes
Before you can assign names to your routes, you must first enable this option in the display settings.
To do so:
- Go to Settings.
- From Settings in the side menu, click General.
- Activate the option Enable route naming.
- Click Save.
Once this option is enabled, you will be able to add names to your routes.
Name a route
You can name a route from several pages in the application:
- Agenda
- Routes
- Map
- History
Here is an example from the Agenda tab.
- Go to Organize.
- Click on the Agenda tab.
- Select the desired date in the calendar.
- Locate the route you want to name and click the … button next to the route > Name the route.
- Enter the route name.
- Click Save.
The route will now appear with the name you defined.

In the order tables, you can display a Route column to quickly see which route each intervention belongs to.
To do this:
- Click Modify columns.
- Select Route.
Edit a route name
You can modify a route name at any time.
For example, from the Agenda tab:
- Go to Organize.
- Click Agenda.
- Select the date in the calendar.
- Locate the route concerned and click … > Rename the route.
- Edit the route name.
- Click Save.
The new name will be applied immediately.
