AntsRoute offers a function that lets you define names for your routes. If you make regular routes, this feature is particularly useful. Here are the steps to follow to use this function:
Activate the option in the settings
To determine route names, you must first activate the option by following these steps:
- Go to the “Settings”.
- Click on the “Settings” tab.
- Click on “Display settings”.
- Enable the option “Define route names”.
- Click on the “Save” button.
Name a route
You can access this function from all the tabs with a list of routes:
- Agenda
- Routes
- Map
- Route report
Let's take the example of defining a route name from the “Agenda” tab:
- Go to the “Organize” module.
- Click on the “Agenda” tab.
- Select a date in the calendar.
- Identify a route, click on “…” and “Name the route”.
- Define the “Route name”.
- Click on the “Save” button.
💡 In the work order tables, you can now view a “Route” column. The column is not displayed by default, so you need to click on “Modify columns” and select this item.
Edit the name of a route
Let's take the example of editing a route name from the “Agenda” tab:
- Go to the “Organize” module.
- Click on the “Agenda” tab.
- Select a date in the calendar.
- Identify a route, click on “…” and “Rename the route”.
- Edit the “Route name”.
- Click on the “Save” button.
