Two-factor authentication (2FA) enhances the security of your AntsRoute account. In addition to your password, a temporary code (TOTP) generated by an authentication app is required when logging in.
✅ Compatible applications: Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, etc.
🙋 From the Users tab (top right of the interface), a 2FA column allows you to see which users have activated two-factor authentication. Reminder: all users, as well as agents with an additional role, can enable two-factor authentication.
Steps to follow:
Step 1: Select the verification method
- Go to the My Account tab.
- Click on Two-Factor Authentication.
- The verification method is already pre-selected. Click on Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
Step 2: Set up the authentication app
- Download an authentication app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). Another option: use an application directly on your computer, for example KeeWeb.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the screen with the app, or enter the code manually.
- Your app will then generate a 6-digit code. Enter this code in AntsRoute.
- Click on Confirm.
Step 3: Add a recovery code
The recovery code is essential if you lose access to your authentication device (phone, tablet, etc.).
🙋 Once used, the recovery code becomes invalid. You will need to generate a new one.
- Copy and store this unique code in a secure place (encrypted file, password manager, etc.).
- Click on Continue to complete the setup.
Logging in with Two-Factor Authentication : Each time you log in to AntsRoute via a browser, after entering your password, you will be asked to provide the 6-digit code generated by your authentication app.
