From the AntsRoute interface, you can enter your drivers' daily breaks (lunch breaks, free time, etc.). These breaks will be taken into account when optimising routes. To add a break, follow these steps:
Where can I see the breaks?
Breaks are displayed:
- In routes that have not started
- In ongoing routes in the “Monitor” module.
- On the mobile application available to drivers.
On the mobile application, drivers can view:
- The duration of their break
- Planned start time
- Planned end time
☝️ Good to know: If you have activated the option allowing drivers to validate their arrival on site and departure in order to calculate the actual duration of the stops, these same actions can be carried out for the breaks.
Add a break
- Go to the “Resources” module.
- Click on the “Drivers” tab.
- Open the driver file.
- Click on “Working hours, locations and skills”.
- Click on the blue coffee cup icon to add a break.
- Enter the “Break duration”.
- Indicate the time slot in which the break can start.
- Repeat these actions for each day of the week.
- Click on “Save and set as default” to assign these breaks to the selected week and all following weeks.
💡 If you wish to assign these breaks to the selected week only, click on the “Save” button.
Delete a break
- Go to the “Resources” module.
- Click on the “Drivers” tab.
- Open the driver file.
- Click on “Working hours, locations and skills”.
- Click on the red coffee cup icon to delete a break.
- Repeat these actions for the other days of the week if necessary.
- Click on “Save” or “Save and set as default”.
