AntsRoute allows you to display an agent’s schedule in an external calendar such as Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or Apple Calendar.
☝️ Synchronization only works one way: appointments scheduled in AntsRoute are displayed in your external calendar, but events created in that calendar are not sent back to AntsRoute.
Supported Calendars
You can sync an AntsRoute schedule with:
- Google Calendar
- Microsoft Outlook
- Apple Calendar on Mac
- iPhone/iPad Calendar (iOS)
Step 1: Retrieve the AntsRoute schedule link
- Go to the “Resources” module.
- Open the “Agents” tab.
- Click “…” and then “Export agenda” for the selected agent.
- Click “Copy link”.
💡 We recommend pasting this link into a temporary document so you can easily access it during setup.
Step 2: Add the schedule to your calendar
Sync with Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar.
- In the left-hand menu, hover over “Other calendars”.
- Click the “+” icon.
- Select “From URL”.
- Paste the link copied from AntsRoute.
- Click “Add calendar”.
The agent’s schedule will then appear in your Google Calendar.
Sync with Microsoft Outlook
- Open Microsoft Outlook > Home.
- Go to the Calendar module.
- Click “Add Calendar” or “Open Calendar” depending on your Outlook version.
- Select “From Internet”.
- Paste the link copied from AntsRoute.
- Confirm the calendar addition.
Once synchronization is complete, appointments will appear in Outlook.
💡 In some versions of Outlook, calendar updates are manual.
To refresh the data:
- Open the “Send/Receive” tab.
- Click “Update Folder”.
Sync with Apple Calendar on Mac
- Open the Calendar application on your Mac.
- Click “File”.
- Select “New Calendar Subscription”.
- Paste the link copied from AntsRoute.
- Click “Subscribe”.
- Enter a name for the calendar.
- Click “OK”.
The schedule will then appear in your Calendar application.
Sync with iPhone or iPad Calendar
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to Calendar.
- Tap “Accounts”.
- Tap “Add Account”.
- Select “Other”.
- Tap “Add Subscribed Calendar”.
- Paste the link copied from AntsRoute.
- Tap “Next” and then “Save”.
The schedule is then added to your device’s Calendar application.
💡 Good to know:
Synchronization is not instant. The update frequency depends on the calendar application used.
- Google Calendar ➜ Automatic with variable delay
- Microsoft Outlook ➜ Often manual
- Apple Calendar (Mac) ➜ Automatic
- iPhone/iPad Calendar ➜ Automatic
☝️ AntsRoute does not control the synchronization frequency of third-party tools.
💡 Good to know:
Completed appointments disappear from the calendar. Once appointments are completed in AntsRoute, they are no longer displayed in the synced calendar.
💡 Good to know:
Synchronization only works one way. Changes made in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar are not sent back to AntsRoute.
Remove access to a schedule
Do you want to prevent access to a previously shared schedule?
You need to generate a new synchronization link. Changing the agent’s email address is not enough to disable the previous access.
Generate a New Link
- Go to the “Resources” module.
- Open the “Agents” tab.
- Click “…” and then “Export agenda”.
- Click “Generate a new link”.
The previous link will then become unusable.
