Determine one or more skills for carrying out a work order
When planning a work order, you can determine one or more skills needed to carry it out.
☝️ Good to know: AntsRoute allows you to select several skills that a field worker must have in order to carry out a work order.
Method 1: Add work orders manually
Let's take the example of planning a work order from the “Schedule work orders” tab.
In the form for adding a task, in the “Skills” field, tick the skill(s) required to carry out the task. The task will be assigned to a technician with these skills.
Method 2: Import work orders
From your import file, you can also determine the skills required to carry out each job.
To do this, you need to add a “Comp_XXX” column with “XXX” corresponding to one of the skills you have defined in the “Skills” tab. For example, Comp_Gas corresponds to the skill entitled “Gas”.
Next, all you have to do is indicate whether the skill is necessary to carry out the job by entering “YES” in the cell. If the skill is not required, enter “NO”.
