If several people use your AntsRoute account, you can create custom roles to control which features each user can access.
For example, you may allow some users to view routes without giving them permission to modify account settings.
AntsRoute lets you precisely configure access permissions for each role and create as many roles as needed.
Create a user role
To create a new role in your AntsRoute account:
- Click your avatar (your initials) in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Open the “Roles” tab.
- Click the “+” button.
You can then configure the new role.
Configure role permissions
When creating the role, fill in the following information:
1. Role name
Enter a clear name so you can easily identify the role.
For example:
- Planner
- Logistics Manager
- Operator
- Administrator
2. Accessible features
Select the features that users with this role will be able to access:
- General settings: access to account settings.
- Modules, dashboard, and alerts: view performance indicators and notifications.
- Site: manage operational locations.
- Resources: manage drivers, technicians, or vehicles.
- Customers (or patients): access the customer database.
- Deliveries: manage tasks to be completed.
- Routes: plan and edit routes.
You can enable only the permissions required depending on each user’s role.
3. Save the role
Once the configuration is complete:
- Review the selected permissions.
- Click “Save” to create the role.
The new role is now available in your account.
Assign a role to a user
Once the role has been created, you can assign it when adding a new user or change the role of an existing user.
