Your customers’ personal data cannot be stored indefinitely. To help you follow data protection best practices, AntsRoute allows you to define how long data related to your routes and deliveries is kept.
Once this period has passed, the relevant data is automatically deleted from your account.
💡 Good to know: The maximum data retention period on AntsRoute is 10 years.
Set the retention period for route and delivery data
To configure the data retention period in your account, follow the steps below:
- Click on the blue circle in the top right-hand corner.
- Click on “My account”.
- Click on the “Data management” tab.
- Select the “Number of days” option.
- Enter a value (number of days) greater than or equal to 2.
- Click on the “Save” button.
Once this setting is saved, data related to routes and deliveries will be automatically deleted after the defined period.
Set a different retention period for proof of delivery
If necessary, you can define a specific retention period for proof of delivery (photos, signatures, etc.). This period must be shorter than the retention period defined for routes and deliveries.
To configure this setting:
- Check the “Define a different retention period for proof of service” box.
- Enter a value (number of days) that is less than the route retention period.
- Click on the “Save” button.
Proof of delivery will then be automatically deleted once this period has been reached.
Key takeaway
Setting a data retention period allows you to better manage the data stored in your account and comply with personal data protection requirements.
We recommend choosing a retention period that suits your operational needs and any legal obligations related to your business.
