Add custom fields related to packages

AntsRoute offers a complete feature for managing packages to be delivered — from adding parcels to a delivery, to validating them by scanning barcodes, and accessing the history of delivered packages.

You can enrich each package record with additional fields, which can be either visible or hidden on the drivers’ mobile application.

Steps to follow:

1. Open ‘Settings’.
2. Click the ‘Custom fields’ tab.
3. Select ‘Packages’.
4. Create a category to group your fields:
   • Click ‘Create a category’.
   • Enter a Name.
   • Click ‘Save’.
5. Add a custom field:
   • Click ‘Create a field’.
   • Enter a Name
   • Select a Field type (Text, Date, Number, Checkbox, List, Photo)
   • Define whether the field is mandatory.
   • Choose whether it is private (not visible on mobile).
   • Click ‘Save’.

☝️Good to know: In the “Packages” tab of a delivery, you can choose to display or hide your custom fields in the columns.
